About Me

I believe every person deserves a space where they feel heard, supported, and respected. My approach to therapy is grounded, practical, and compassionate, with a focus on helping clients navigate challenges while building on their strengths.

My Approach

Therapy should feel collaborative and approachable. I offer both structure and flexibility, creating a safe environment where clients can reflect, grow, and feel more connected to themselves and their relationships. Sessions are designed to meet each person’s unique needs, whether we are addressing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, or life transitions

Who I Work With

I provide counseling for:

  • Teens navigating change, school pressures, identity, and relationships.
  • Adults facing stress, transitions, or relationship challenges.

As a bilingual counselor, I offer therapy in English and Spanish, ensuring clients can express themselves in the language that feels most natural.

About Me

My professional path has always centered on supporting individuals and communities. Over the
years, I have worked in women’s shelters and nonprofits, held leadership roles on local boards,
and trained as a certified yoga teacher with a focus on mindfulness and stress reduction. These
experiences continue to shape the way I show up in the therapy room—with compassion, clarity,
and a deep respect for each person’s lived story.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I draw from Dialectical Behavior
Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy to help clients
gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and strengthen their relationship with themselves
and others. I believe therapy works best when it fits who you are, honors your strengths, and
helps you create a meaningful path forward.

I immigrated to the United States from Mexico at the age of fourteen, and I understand the
challenges of adjusting to a new culture, learning a new language, and building a sense of
belonging. Navigating two cultures shaped my empathy and allows me to connect with clients
who may feel caught between identities or are working to honor their cultural background while
building a life that reflects their true selves.

My family has been affected by generational addiction, and that experience has shaped my understanding of how these struggles impact individuals and relationships. It helps me approach clients with genuine empathy and respect. This perspective guides my commitment to supporting healing, rebuilding trust, and helping people create healthier, more supportive patterns in their lives.
